Friday Night, Party Night

After you grab dinner Friday night get back down to the Grand America for some party hopping. They'll be a string of hotel suites decked our for a night of cheer. Think super heroes, Coney Island, Americana and chocolate! There will be lots of giveaways going on throughout the night (if you're an early bird, you may be in for a surprise) and feel free to hop in and out to keep the parties flowing. Thanks to your Friday night hosts: The Girls With Glasses and Kate Spade, HGTV, Wilsonart and Provo Craft.

Dinner With... Updates and an Alt Packing List

Wow! There was a huge response to the Dinner With... program and spots filled up within a few minutes. Hooray! This is a new program and we weren't sure what to expect. We're busily working to open more spots and we'll let you know right away when they're available. Thank you for your enthusiasm!

 

Feel like you're missing out on the fun Wednesday evening? Don't fret. There are lots of different options. Some people are organizing their own dinner outings, some are filling the Dinner With... spots and some are going out with sponsors. Others are staying in their hotel room, ordering room service and watching a made for TV movie. There's no wrong way to spend your Wednesday evening.

 

If you won't be coming into town until Thursday morning, that's okay too. The conference doesn't officially begin until 9 AM. 

 

Feeling more settled about Wednesday evening? Good. Now let's talk about important stuff: What are we going to wear? We've seen your tweets and know you're wondering the same thing. Don't worry, even if you're no fashionista, you'll still be welcome at Alt Summit in whatever you're wearing. We can't wait to see you!

Dinner With . . .

Complimentary dinner with fellow Alt Summit attendees?! Sign me up! 

As an attendee of Alt Summit, you have the opportunity to join friends (or make new ones!) and dine with them at Dinner With.... 

 Alt has partnered with Salt Lake City Restaurants to organize a dinner for Alt registered attendees on Wednesday, January 19th, 2011, the night before the summit officially begins. Dinner is complimentary — alcoholic beverages, gratuity and transportation to the restaurant will be your responsibility. A table of 6 is available at each participating restaurant. Sounds like a sweet deal, right? Here's how you sign up: 

1. Go to this link

2. Input your email address and Alt confirmation number to login

3. Click on the edit button in the top right corner

4. Select the restaurant (trust us, it's a tough decision) 

5. PLEASE NOTE: To complete your registration continue through the screens until you reach Terms and Conditions. Check the box and click the continue button. You will receive an email confirmation exactly like your conference registration. This means that the Dinner With registration went through (sorry for the wonkiness, we'll try to smooth it out for next year). 

Hurry, hurry! It's first come first served and the spots will be gone fast.

 7:00 pm. Thursday night. Bring something swanky to wear.

 After the first full day of the conference, Alt Summit will be hosting a party at iconic Lamb's Grill, the longest running restaurant in Salt Lake City. It's all about understated old school charm. Located just down the street from the Grand American, Lamb's will be packed with Alt attendees enjoying good eats, good drinks and good music. We can't wait to see you there.
