    Alt SF Ticket Lottery

Unfortunately, as many of you are aware, registration for Alt SF did not go as planned last week. The enthusiastic Alt community has once again shut down the servers of the third registration company we've worked with. We're so sorry! Truly. We apologize for the inconvenience and have decided to move forward with registration in an alternate manner.

Starting today, go to this page anytime until 5 pm PST on Thursday, March 21st to be entered into the Alt SF ticket lottery. And no rush! Whether you enter today, or tomorrow, or even Thursday, you'll have the same chance as everyone else that enters. So if you're too busy today, no stress. You can enter tomorrow and it won't lessen your chances at all.

After lottery registration closes on Thursday, 300 lucky attendees will be randomly picked from the lottery database. Everyone who submits their name for a ticket will be notified via email on Friday, March 22nd letting them know whether they were selected or not. If you are selected, you will need to complete your registration by Monday, April 1st at 5 p.m. PST (no fooling). You'll find registration instructions in that email.

Once again, we're sorry for the registration troubles this month! We love you!

My sister and I blog together and she was just notified that she was selected in the lottery for a ticket and I wasn't. Is there a way that I could purchase and transfer a ticket if someone was picked in the lottery and they can't go?

I totally understand the need to find an alternative method but I must say as someone who tried to buy a ticket last week unsuccessfully and was notified that tickets would be on sale Friday, I'm really disappointed that the lottery system expired Thursday. That seems not very well thought out since there was no way to notify people. Why not make the announcement Friday as planned for the following week?

If people don't sign up in time for their AltSF tickets, will you be releases those tickets for sale for those did not make the lottery draft? Please advise as there are a few people that would really like to attend Alt in SF and are willing to make the trip.

Hi, I was lucky to receive an email with the invitation code for ALT SF, but I think it doesn't work and I can't register...when I fill out the form it appears to charge the total cost of the event.
Please help, I'm kind of desperate to find a solution because there is little time left to enter and I really want to go :)
    Thanks!
