    Keynote Panel is even Cooler.

Remember when we announced the very cool Keynote Panel a couple of weeks ago? Well. It just got even cooler.

Panelists Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, founder of Apartment Therapy; Grace Bonney, founder of Design*Sponge; and Jean Aw, founder of NotCot, will be joined by Heather Armstrong, founder of Dooce.

As a designer, a design blogger, a long-time expert in this space and a Salt Lake City local, Heather will be moderating the discussion and adding in her valuable two cents.

How awesome is that? We'll tell you how awesome: really awesome.

    The Agenda is almost set.

We've been finessing and smoothing out the panels and programming pretty much round the clock over the past couple of weeks. We're not ready to reveal the whole thing quite yet, but we can tell you this, come to Alt Summit and you could learn:

-Why everyone and their cousin is talking about design more now then ever.

-How ad networks work, how they're changing and which networks cater especially to design and lifestyle sites.

-The realities of online design — hear from a web designer, programmer and online-type expert to learn what you need to know about online design now and what to know going forward.

-Blog Etiquette and how to appropriately (and legally!) credit the content sources and sponsors you're referencing on your site.

-Creative ways site owners are generating revenue outside of ad networks.

-Being a designer vs. being a design blogger — if you're both, what should the time balance be between the two?

-Designing your community and smart ways to grow your audience.

-How design will save social media. (It needs saving you ask? Come to Alt and find out.)

And that's just a taste. It keeps getting better and better. And better.

    Now For a Little Riddle

Q: What do all the cool people you know (including yourself) want for Christmas? (Hint: it’s an Alt registration.)

A: Can you guess the answer? It’s an Alt registration!

And we’ve made it easy for you to get one. Until Christmas, enjoy $50 dollars off your full registration. For you. Or a friend or loved one. Or perhaps a stranger if you can come up with their contact information. It’s our way of saying Feliz Navidad, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays all at once. And it could be your way of saying so too.

    Keynote Panel in the House

This just in: our keynote panel has been confirmed. And it's going to be amazing.

Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, founder of Apartment Therapy.

    Grace Bonney, founder of Design*Sponge.

    Jean Aw, founder of NotCot.

Among the three of them, we're looking at something crazy like 5 or 10 million (or is it 20?) social media impressions each month. You will want to hear what they have to say. To learn from their collective wisdom. You will not want to miss this. Period.
