The Process with Joslyn Taylor
Joslyn Taylor's blog, Simple Lovely, is filled with great design and her own witty southern charm. Today, Josyln shares glimpses of her own blog growth process and gives us hints to help us along the way.
Work Out Your Creativity
Creativity, much like a muscle has to be worked. When left alone, it atrophies. Creativity needs to be stretched and sometimes it needs to hit the pavement hard to see just how far it will take us. Our creativity must be used to be worth something to us. And the more time we invest into it, the more we will get out of it. We can hardly expect to just show up on the first day and be perfect, but with time and dedication, our creativity can take us places that we might have never dreamed!
So, if you were to assess your creativity on a scale of one to ten, where would you would be? Are you putting the time into creativity to get the results you desire? Do you need to invest more time in it? There are always classes that can teach you new things, but sometimes just carving out a little bit of time each day to pull away and let your creativity run free is what is really needed.
The one thing I am certain of is that the more time you invest in creativity, the more you will get out of it. Maybe it's time to get out your creativity trainers, hit the pavement, and see just how far your creativity will take you!
