Alt Design Summit

Is anyone else staying in a hotel downtown instead of the hotels Alt suggested? I'd rather stay within walking distance to the Grand and found the Crystal Inn a few blocks away, just wondering if I should go with one they suggest instead.

I just got a ticket last week and everything I found DT was SOLD OUT! I ended up at a B & B because the Crystal inn said it was booked when I tried to reserve a room. Here is where I am staying, but I think it is pricey: http://www.inn-on-the-hill.com/index.html. If I hadnt found the B & B I would have stayed at a hotel near the airport which looks pretty close to town. They all got decent reviews on trip adviser. Good luck!

Hey Glamorous Housewife...from your suggestion I registered today at The Inn On The Hill B & B. It didn't seem pricey to me at all. The hotels near the airport (mostly that's all that is still available since there are so many things going on in SLC that weekend) were over $1000. I'm happy with the B & B and we'll get a great hot breakfast included. I'm getting super excited!
