Alt Design Summit

I know that business cards are a BIG deal at Alt. How many should I plan on bringing?

Hey Sharon! I haven't been to ALT SLC yet, but I have heard that we need to bring A LOT of cards. It prob depends a ton how how talkative you are and how many people you'd like to hand them out to...I plan on bringing at least 200 or so... It certainly won't hurt to have too many, and I'd hate to run out!! :) hope that helps!! Does anyone else have advice from prior years?!

I think 200 is a safe number, but you can probably get away with less than that. There are more people than that at Alt of course BUT you will not speak to every person there. And you don't want to pass out your card to every single person you see - the goal is to make genuine connections and get to know people, not to get your business cards into as many hands as humanly possible. I think I brought 150 last year and probably gave out around 70 cards (give or take). Hope that helps. Can't wait to see all the new faces next year.

I'm a chatty Kathy and I gave out about 250 last year. I even ran out on the last day, which was kind of sad. Bring more than you think!
